Lightbox Expo 2019

I’m on my way!

I’ll be flying out to Pasadena, California for The Lightbox Expo next week and I can’t wait to meet my fellow creators.

I hope to learn a great deal about this new world I’m entering and to find fresh opportunities after 18 years as a fantasy/sci-fi illustrator.

Check it out!

I hope to see you there!

This studio goes where I go— whether to my kitchen table or to a set on the other side of the country. It’s been great.

Top o’ the mourning...

Keyframe illustration sample

I wish to get into doing keyframe illustration as well as storyboarding and concept design so I’ve begun doing regular exercises such as this one.

Key frame illustrations are a terrific way to envision scenes from your film and to set the tone of your story.

I’ve been a narrative illustrator for 18 years so this is very much in my wheelhouse.

More on the way!
